Jacob Elordi has something important to say about his upcoming film “Saltburn.”
At the Los Angeles premier, he explained to Access Hollywood: “I mean it’s a wild ride. It’s wicked, it’s just wicked”
Jacob’s castmate, Archie Madekwe, had a similar mindset for admitting the film would take large audiences on a wild ride.
“This is the kind of film that you watch and say, I wish I was in something like that,” according to Archie, it is Access.
“It takes you on a beautiful journey, it keeps you guessing, you don’t know what you’re going to see. This is shocking.
The film’s story is based on an Oxford student who finds herself drawn into a glamorous elite world and it’s no surprise that it will keep audiences on the edge of their seats as it is helmed by Academy Award winner Emerald Fennell. Wrote and directed.
When Access spoke to Emerald, she revealed that she tried hard to create a unique film.
“Totally, it should be something where you’re going with all your friends, and you’re screaming, and you’re writhing, and you’re screaming and you’re going and you don’t realize. That you’re going to commit a terrible crime or have the best night of your life,” she said it all.
Margot Robbie and Emerald produced this movie. They couldn’t help but rush over her longtime collaborator.
“She’s the greatest ever,” she said. “She produced both my films. She produced ‘Saltburn’ and ‘Promising Young Woman’ and she and her company are the greatest. I love them so much. I never want to work with anyone else.”
The compliments didn’t end there. Jacob was all positive about another Australian as well!
“I mean she’s amazing, you know, she’s Australian royalty,” Jacob said.
Since the movie was shot in the same location as the Harry Potter films, some of the locations may be familiar to viewers when it comes out.
“It was a lot like Harry Potter. We walked down some of the same hallways, it was pretty surreal,” he said.
On Nov. 17, “Saltburn” opens in theaters.
