UNTITLED DEADPOOL MOVIE

Previously dated 5/3/24 moves to 7/26/24

Marvel Studios has shifted its slate, resulting in a delayed release of the highly-anticipated Deadpool 3 tentpole to theaters. Disney announced on Wednesday that the third installment of the franchise will debut on July 26, 2024, instead of May 3, 2024.

Ryan Reynolds returns in the lead role and producer of Deadpool 3. It was one of several famous Hollywood productions that had to halt shooting in July due to the sag after strike rate.

First off, Ryan Reynolds is incredibly disappointed that he was unable to attend the most recent D23 Expo along with the rest of the amazing cast and crew of Deadpool 3 for Marvel Studios. But because he was giving Deadpool 3 his all, he was brave.

Reynolds genuinely wants this third adventure with the merc with a mouth—and Wade Wilson’s debut appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—to be something exceptional, but he is also running out of ideas for the film.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD

Superhero movie, based on the same-named superhero from Marvel Comics.

The movie is a follow-up to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

  • Harrison Ford as General “Thunderbolt” Ross and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes make up the Thunderbolts roster.
  • Details about the story are currently being withheld, however, the Thunderbolts movie will have strong ties to Black Widow and might show the characters as anti-heroes rather than villains.

BLADE

Previously dated on 2/14/25 moves to 11/7/25

This bites. Disney has announced that Marvel Studios’ Blade, starring Mahershala Ali as the vampire hunter, has been delayed by nine months from February 14th, 2025, to November 7th, 2025.

While two untitled Disney films were scheduled for July 2025 and November 2025, the schedule was completely changed to accommodate the new 2025 dates for Thunderbolts and Blade.
